At Sy Church, outreach isn't just a task; it's the heartbeat of our community in Hickory, NC, and Catawba County. We're dedicated to extending kindness, love, and support to those around us, embodying the love of Jesus in tangible ways. Our outreach efforts aren't about growing our church numbers; they're about spreading the love of Christ far and wide.

Our recent outreach event at the Sheetz gas station on Springs Rd in Hickory was nothing short of amazing. With the gracious permission of Sheetz management, we distributed over $500 in free gas gift cards to those in need. We trusted in God's timing and provision, and He exceeded our expectations.
During the event, we simply greeted people with kindness and offered them a free gas gift card. It was heartwarming to witness the impact of a simple gesture. Many were initially hesitant, perhaps expecting strings attached to the gift. But our message was clear: we're here to spread the love of Jesus with no expectations in return.
The responses we received were overwhelming. From smiles and hugs to tears of gratitude, each interaction reminded us of the profound impact of love and kindness. We're deeply thankful to Sheetz for partnering with us in this outreach endeavor.
