August 2023 - BACK TO SCHOOL

As the back-to-school season approached, we knew it was time to step up and support families in our community. With the hustle and bustle of registering for school, arranging doctor appointments, shopping for clothes, and gathering school supplies, we wanted to alleviate some of the stress. 

 Partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Hickory was a natural choice, and we're incredibly grateful for their generosity in allowing us to host our event in their gymnasium. Together, we were able to make a significant impact on the lives of children in our community. 

 Our outreach efforts didn't stop at providing free backpacks and school supplies; we also offered complimentary haircuts for kids. Thanks to the incredible talent and generosity of Hickory's finest barbers and hairdressers, over 70 children received fresh new cuts. 

 The outpouring of support from volunteers was truly heartwarming. Their dedication and willingness to give their time made all the difference in the success of our outreach event. We're immensely grateful for each and every person who contributed to making this event a reality. 

 With over 150 backpacks distributed to children in need and an additional 200+ donated to the Boys and Girls Club, we're proud of the impact we've made. But this is just the beginning. We're committed to making our back-to-school outreach an annual tradition, ensuring that no child in our community misses out on the essentials they need to thrive in school.
