September 2023 - SHEETZ PT 2
This past May we did our FIRST Outreach at Sheetz in Hickory and this month we went back and did it again! In May we gave away a little over $500 in free gas gift cards and this month we gave away over $1,600! Wow! God is faithful!
While we were there we simply greeted people with kindness and asked them if we could bless them with a free gas gift card. What transpired was truly heartwarming. Many individuals graciously shared their stories with us, allowing us the privilege of offering prayers and support. It's remarkable how a small act of kindness can brighten someone's day or lift their spirits for the week ahead.
The beauty of these outreach events lies in their simplicity and inclusivity. They remind us that each of us has the power to spread love and kindness in our everyday lives, regardless of whether it's a church-sponsored event or not. By stepping out of our comfort zones and extending a helping hand, we create a ripple effect of positivity that touches lives far beyond our expectations.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sheetz on Springs Rd in Hickory for graciously opening their doors to us and allowing us to host these meaningful outreach events on their premises. Their support and partnership have been instrumental in making these initiatives possible.
None of this would be possible without the generosity and dedication of those who faithfully support our church month after month. It's through their selfless giving that we're able to continue making a tangible difference in the lives of others. We're deeply moved by their commitment to spreading God's love and serving our community with compassion and sincerity.
As we reflect on the blessings of our outreach events, we're reminded of God's unwavering faithfulness and provision. With each act of kindness, we're privileged to be vessels of His love, illuminating even the darkest corners of our world. May we continue to sow seeds of love and compassion in the Hickory and surrounding area, knowing that our efforts, no matter how small, can bring immeasurable joy and hope to those around us.
