DECEMBER 2023 - CHRISTMAS Giveaway

In December, the season of giving, we had the incredible opportunity to spread joy and generosity in not just one, but two meaningful ways! 

 For our monthly outreach, we decided to lighten the load for parents who were navigating the bustling toy aisles in search of Christmas gifts for their children. We split into two groups and headed to Walmart and Target armed with $750 worth of gift cards. The mission? To bless parents with a little extra help towards making their children's Christmas dreams come true. 

We looked for parents in the toy aisles and asked them if we could bless them with a gift card to go towards their purchases. The reactions were priceless – many were stunned and touched by the unexpected gesture. And that's precisely why we love these outreach initiatives – because a simple act of kindness has the power to brighten someone's day in ways we may never fully comprehend. 

 In addition to our Christmas gift card outreach, we also participated in the Salvation Army Angel Tree Ministry. As a church, we were able to provide gifts for 30 Angel Tree children, and we couldn't be more proud of our congregation for their incredible generosity and compassion. 

 It's moments like these that remind us of the true meaning of the holiday season – a time for giving, sharing, and spreading love to those in need. As we reflect on the joy we were able to bring to others, we're filled with gratitude and humility.
